Meet Jennifer

South Alabama Photographer

I’ve never believed the best photographs come from perfect poses.

They come from the laughter after the joke, the tiny hand reaching for yours, the happy tears you didn’t expect, and the quiet moments that often become our favorite memories.

I’m Jennifer, and those are the stories I love to tell.

As a wife, mom, grandmother, and lifelong creative, I’ve always been drawn to preserving the moments that matter most. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, welcoming a new baby, or celebrating one of life’s biggest milestones, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel genuine, timeless, and full of heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me covered in buttercream at Frosted & Feisty, trying a new recipe, or spending time with the people who inspire me most.

Because years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what life looked like.

I want you to remember exactly how it felt.

Before Your Session

Do you travel for photoshoots?

Absolutely! I love exploring new locations and would be honored to travel for your session. Whether it’s a quiet beach at sunset, a family farm, a charming downtown, or a destination that’s special to you, I’m always excited to help tell your story. Sessions within my local service area are included, and a travel fee may apply for locations outside that area.

If you have a location you’ve always imagined for your photos? Tell me about it! I’d love to help bring your vision to life.

What should we wear for our session?

The most important thing you can wear is something that feels like you. I recommend choosing outfits that are comfortable, timeless, and coordinate with one another rather than matching exactly. Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and subtle patterns photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your family and the genuine moments we create together. Once your session is booked, I’ll be happy to offer wardrobe guidance and help you choose outfits if you’d like a second opinion!

How long does it take to get our photos?

I know how exciting it is to relive your session, and I promise I’ll be just as excited to share your gallery! Portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2 to 3 weeks, while wedding galleries are delivered within 6 to 8 weeks. Every image is carefully hand-edited with attention to detail because your memories deserve more than a quick filter. And if I happen to finish ahead of schedule… you’ll get a happy surprise in your inbox!

Do you offer albums or prints?

I do, and I truly hope you’ll consider them! There’s something special about walking past a favorite photograph hanging on your wall or watching your children flip through a family album years from now. While digital images are wonderful for sharing, printed photographs become part of your family’s story. Through your online gallery, you’ll have access to beautiful, professional-quality prints, canvases, and albums that are made to be treasured for generations.

How Many Photos Will I Receive?

I don’t believe in putting a strict number on memories. Every session is different, so I deliver all of the best images that beautifully tell your story. You’ll receive a carefully curated gallery filled with moments you’ll love, rather than a set number of photographs.

What Happens if it rains?

Weather is one thing we can’t control, but don’t worry! If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, we’ll work together to reschedule your session or choose an alternative location whenever possible. My goal is always to give you the best experience and the best photographs.

What if my child doesn’t cooperate?

Children don’t have to sit perfectly still or smile on command to create beautiful photographs. Some of my favorite images come from little giggles, curious adventures, and genuine personalities. We’ll keep things relaxed, take breaks when needed, and let your child simply be themselves.

Will I receive uneditd phots?

Every image you receive is carefully selected and professionally edited to reflect my artistic style. Because editing is such an important part of the creative process, I do not deliver RAW or unedited images.
